A history of W. K. Kellogg's Arabian Ranch, from its start in 1925 to modern times. The Kellogg Ranch provided Arabian horses for many Hollywood films, and the courtyard of its beautiful Spanish-style stables was a popular backdrop for publicity photos of movie stars, who posed with horses such as *Raseyn and Jadaan. The famous Sunday shows (private displays of the ranch's horses) attracted many visitors and helped win new admirers for the breed.

The historic Arabian breeding farm also served as a U.S. Army Remount station, becoming the new home of Polish Arabian horses captured by Gen. Patton's forces during World War II-- including *Witez II).Eventually, the ranch and its horses were donated by W.K. Kellogg to the State of California, becoming the foundation for Cal Poly University's Arabian horse program at Pomona. This large book is lavishly illustrated by b&w photos of horses, including *Raseyn, *Nasik, *Witez II, Rabiyat, King John, Jadaan etc. Hard cover, 541 pages. Published 1977.
